Reap Rewards With Your Credit Card
Article Submitted by: Paul Buchanan

With winter nearly over and the repercussions of the long recession affecting us all there has never been a better time to spring clean your finances and get your money in order. If you've had the same cards and bank accounts for what seems like forever you may want to start looking for a better deal elsewhere. Every penny counts at the moment so getting rewards from your bank account or credit cards could be the very thing to put a smile on your face and help you feel more secure and confident about your financial situation.

With money worries at the top of everyone's mind it's important to make sure you have the best credit and debit cards to suit your needs. Reward credit cards are all the rage at the moment with banks and retailers offering some great deals and rewards for loyal and new customers. Many of these cards offer customer reward points alongside a good interest rate and low annual percentage rate so there is always an added incentive to seek out the best reward credit card for your needs.

One of the most popular reward cards currently available is the Goldfish MasterCard by Barclays. This card offers a multitude of rewards for interested parties which includes a point's gathering system where you can receive one reward point for every pound you spend. It gets even better in your first three months because when spend over £100 pounds a month then you will receive extra rewards points which can add up to £30 pounds in high street vouchers. On top of all these rewards the card offers 0% interest for the first three months on all of your purchases, this begins as soon as you open your account so you can start shopping as soon as your application is complete.

Many stores and supermarkets are also offering their own take on reward cards. Asda's credit card offers customers some special deals including a 5% discount at all Asda living stores and the chance to earn up to £50 in Asda vouchers each year. Similarly travel companies are getting in on the action with cards that can reward you with travel vouchers, extra air miles and occasional special deals on accommodation and flights around the world.

When thinking about a new credit card it's especially important to keep an eye on the annual percentage rates on offer. These rates are very important when choosing your reward card as this will determine the total percentage you will be liable to pay back if you can't pay off your card balance in time. This rate, commonly abbreviated as APR could save you hundreds of pounds so it pays to hunt around for the lowest rate possible.

Whatever kind of credit card rewards you're after making sure you choose the right APR and interest rate will help you save money and take care of your precious finances in the process.
